Dr. Inga Wolframm - Host
 

Inga is a researcher and senior lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Van Hall Larenstein, the Netherlands and an accredited sport psychologist (VSPN) specialising in equestrian sports. Also, Inga is the Education Officer for the International Society for Equitation Science (ISES) and a consultant for the Dutch Association of Horse Owners (Vereniging Eigen Paard).

Her PhD looked at "Psychological Traits and States in Equestrian Sports" and she holds an MSc in Human and Equine Sports Science. Inga writes books, columns, blogs and give talks, presentations or seminars.

Morgan Lashley - Technology and training
 

Morgan Lashley graduated in 2009 to Utrecht University as a vet. Morgan worked as an equine vet at Stockholm (2009-2012) and at Paardenkliniek de Raaphorst, Wassenaar (2012-present). She has been an active competition rider till Prix St. George level and joined the Dutch team for the European Championship Juniors in 2000.

As a rider, Morgan has always been interested in the management and recovery of sport horses. In 2008, she took her internship at Mary Ann McPhail Equine Performance Center at Michigan, where she worked on an article about the head-neck position in elite dressage horses with Dr. Hilary Clayton. This article is published in ‘The Veterinary Journal’ in December, 2014. Later in 2008, Morgan took her internship at Brooke Hospital for Animals at Caïro.

At the moment, Morgan is responsible for the recovery of sport horses at Paardenrevalidatiecentrum de Vrijhoeve, where she guides the horses as a vet as well as a rider. Also, Morgan is a FES-certified “chiropractor” since July 2014.

Justin Maarse - Technology and training
 

Justin is an international 3* eventing rider and has graduated at the Utrecht University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Justin did research looking at the heart of sporthorses for his master. At the moment, Justin is working as a vet at the Animal Clinic Krommerijnstreek at Schalkwijk.

Dr. Diana Hodgins, MBE - GaitSmartTM
 

Diana obtained her degree in Mechanical Engineering and her PhD in solid state gyroscopes from the University of Hertfordshire (UH). Diana has 30 patents granted, relating to solid state sensors. In 2000 Diana was awarded an MBE for services to SMEs in the region, and in 2005 was awarded an Honorary doctorate from the UH for services to innovation. In 1995 Diana established her own business, ETB and in 2009 ETB launched their own sensor based gait monitoring product, GaitSmartTM. This is used in human medical and sports and a range of equine applications. Diana is currently also a visiting professor at the UH and helped to establish a new MEng course in Biomedical Engineering.

Jacques Verkerk - Traditional means
 
 

Jacques Verkerk is an experienced judge for young horses and chairs the selection committee of the renowned Foal Auction Borculo. He selected numerous horses that became superstars in sport and breeding. His knowledge of horses, breeding and sport brought him all over the world to judge and to lecture. Besides selecting young horses and foals Jacques is an equestrian journalist.

Drs. Erik Bergman - Vet's perspective
 

Erik graduated at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ghent in 1996. He got his certificate for European College of Animal Reproduction in 2003 and his certificate for International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology in 2006. Since 2011, Erik is an associated member Large Animals of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. 

 

At the moment, Erik is working as a vet at the animal clinic Lingehoeve. Also, Erik is the founder of Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC), The Netherlands. The SMDC aims for the highest possible quality in equine orthopedics, including (inter)national purchase examinations. All modern diagnostic- and treatment options will be combined with expertise, experience and good communication. The SMDC is currently building a state of the art orthopedic hospital and will open in July 2015.
